About Janet
Janet is a lovely female Hound mix, around 2 years old, who found herself at the HSOV after being abandoned overnight on August 8, 2026. Along with her two companions, Chrissy and Jack, she faced an uncertain start but is now looking for a fresh beginning. Janet boasts a short white coat patterned with brindle and black markings. She has a sweet face marked symmetrically with brindle and white, complete with dark brown eyes and floppy brindle ears. While her friendly personality shines through, she was understandably nervous in a new environment filled with unfamiliar sounds and faces. Fortunately, after spending time with kennel tech Emily Beaver, Janet showed a wonderful ability to pose for photos, which spoke volumes about her blossoming confidence. This young lady weighs in at about 50 lbs and is ready to find a loving home where she will be cherished and spoiled. Janet is already spayed, which means she can be adopted immediately with an approved application. She is also available for fostering. This sweetheart is eager for a chance to bring joy into her new family’s life. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and let’s get started.
