Meet Tiny, a 4-year-old Chihuahua weighing 12 pounds. He was surrendered by his owner in Tennessee who moved to assisted living and is hopeful to find a loving second home. Tiny may be small, but he has a big personality. It takes him a little while to adjust to new places and people, but he thrives on the attention. A playful dog, Tiny enjoys tug-of-war and shows off his surprising strength, earning him the nickname Hercules! While he does know how to go outside, he typically uses pee pads. Tiny is friendly with other small dogs, though his experience with larger dogs is unknown. He’s seen cats before, having lived with a couple during winter, but he has yet to meet kids. When he’s nervous, he likes to pace as he figures things out, so a calm environment will help him settle in. Once Tiny feels comfortable with you, he's ready to cuddle and hang out in your lap. He may not have had enough playtime or affection in his previous life, so he's eager for love and attention. Though he does well in a crate, he hasn’t been accustomed to a leash yet.
