Most of the pups have gone to their forever homes, but this sweet mama is still waiting for hers. Carolina Gold is a peaceful and loving gal, radiating calmness despite her past challenges. She arrived with a harmless mass on her neck and a limp from an old hip injury, but neither affects her happiness or daily life. A true hound at heart, she loves to explore and sniff around outside at her own pace. Though Carolina appreciates affection, she’s a bit independent and enjoys her space at times. She is already house trained, walks well on a leash, and is smart, impressing everyone with her personality. Often shy around men, additional training will help her build confidence with new faces.
