Meet Vernon, a gentle soul looking for a loving forever home. At about 10 years old, this 8.6-pound Chihuahua came to us as a stray from another shelter, and unfortunately, no one came to claim him. He quickly won over the hearts of our staff with his sweet smile and delightful personality. Despite being a senior, Vernon gets along beautifully with other dogs and maintains a clean kennel, radiating kindness wherever he goes. Age has only added to his charm and wisdom. He’s eager to spend his golden years surrounded by love and warmth in a family that will cherish him. Since we don’t observe our animals at home, we can’t guarantee house training, but he is neutered, vaccinated, and ready to find his companion.
