Meet Velar, a lovable puppy from the Land Rover litter. She, along with her siblings and mom, Honor, was rescued after a family in El Cajon could no longer care for them. At about 12 weeks old and weighing 8 pounds, Velar is expected to grow to around 25 to 30 pounds as an adult. Likely a mix of Labrador and Cocker Spaniel, she showcases a shiny black coat with a cute white cross marking on her chest. Velar is curious and observant, taking her time to assess new environments with her ears perked up like little wings. Her playful spirit shines through, especially when squeaky toys are involved. She's currently doing well with potty pads and has a friendly nature, quickly warming up to new people. This little independent soul could thrive on her own, but she certainly loves attention — just ask for a belly rub and she’ll flop over happily!
