About Luigi

Meet Luigi, a young Black Mouth Cur looking for a loving home. At 34 lbs, he’s full of potential and charm, though his early life has been anything but typical for a puppy. While most pups are filled with toys and safe spaces, Luigi was struggling for survival. Rescued just in time from a grim fate, he now has the chance to learn what it means to be a happy, healthy dog. Luigi is on his journey to discovering joy in simple things, such as having regular meals and a cozy spot to nap. He needs a special person who understands healing takes time and is willing to support him as he builds his confidence. Ideally, he would thrive as the only dog in the home, allowing him to decompress and gain comfort with the world around him. With patience and love, Luigi can transform into the beautiful companion he was always meant to be. This affectionate boy gets along with other dogs and is already fully vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered. He’s also house trained, though he’s still learning the ropes. Luigi is waiting for someone who can show him kindness and help him write the happy ending he deserves. Ready to open your heart and home to this sweet pup?
