About Norman
Norman is a 1.5-year-old, neutered male Shepahuahua, weighing in at about 24 lbs. His journey began in Hanford, CA, where a good Samaritan rescued him from a life behind a 'FREE PUPPIES' sign. Adopted at just 4 months old, he formed a deep bond with his owner until her sudden passing left him feeling scared and alone. Thankfully, his foster home welcomed him back to help him heal. Though Norman is a bit shy and requires slow introductions, he is incredibly affectionate with those he trusts. He loves to snuggle, sleep close, and will happily be carried around like a toddler. Itβs essential to give him time to warm up. Norman is well house-trained and does well in a crate, but he's still learning about leash walking. He enjoys the company of other dogs and is respectful of cats, though small children are a bit overwhelming for him. A fenced backyard is a must to keep him safe during his adjustments. This sweet boy is ready to find his forever home, ideally with a patient adopter who can let him settle in gradually. Norman is currently fostered in Eugene, OR. What are you waiting for?
