About Wampa

Wampa is a 19-week-old female Domestic Short Hair living in Bowie, MD, and she has truly blossomed since joining her foster family. Initially timid, she has learned to embrace her surroundings, thanks to the nurturing presence of her sister, Rancor. These days, Wampa purrs loudly during mealtime and lets her caregivers pet her, showing just how far she's come. Her gentle nature rewards those who show her patience. With a playful spirit, Wampa engages joyfully with her littermates, displaying acrobatic skills when chasing feathered toys or balls with bells. Though she enjoys the company of children and other cats, her shy demeanor means she’s best suited for a home without active dogs. Wampa’s ideal environment is a calm one, where she can gradually adjust without feeling overwhelmed. She thrives in the presence of energetic companions, so pairing her with another playful kitten, like Bantha or Purrgil, could help her come out of her shell even more. Her journey has been one of healing and growth, and now she’s ready to find her forever home. This sweet girl is vaccinated, spayed, and fully litter trained.
