Meet Ralphie! Ralphie is a 4-year-old AKC registered red Beagle with a gentle and tender spirit. He was surrendered due to a heart murmur that impacted his hunting capabilities, and he's still adjusting to this significant change in his life. He has a bit of an Eeyore vibe, being somewhat mopey since he arrived at Sam's Place. However, this might just be part of his charming personality. Ralphie is shy and approaches new people and affection carefully. While he will accept some love, he hasn’t fully let his guard down yet. With time and patience, we’re eager to see his true self emerge as he learns he’s safe and cherished. Surprisingly, Ralphie has been quite quiet for a Beagle. He hasn’t displayed the classic Beagle voice yet, but we can’t promise he won’t find it in time. Ralphie seeks a loving, patient home where he can adjust at his own speed and discover the joys of life.
