Meet Safe in My Skin, a lovely Pittie mix eagerly searching for her forever home. At just 1 year old, this medium-sized girl is both beautiful and shy. When she first arrived at the shelter, she was understandably nervous and withdrawn, but with time, she has learned to trust and reveal her sweet personality. Safe in My Skin is enrolled in Forever Home Fundamentals, a positive-reinforcement training program designed to help her develop confidence and basic obedience skills like sit, down, stay, and touch. She's making great strides through one-on-one sessions each week. However, she will thrive best as the only dog in the home.
