Tapioca is a gentle soul looking for a peaceful home where she can truly relax. This shy little girl has spent her previous days as a blood donor, helping other kitties and now deserves a loving companion role. She takes her time to warm up, so her future family should be patient, understanding that it may take a while for her to feel comfortable. A quiet home without dogs or small children would be ideal for her. Tapioca thrives in the presence of other cats and would be happiest with a feline friend or two to help her adjust. Recently, she has started overgrooming, likely due to the stress of shelter life, and we are currently testing medications to help her feel better. Her new family should be dedicated to continuing this effort. Tapioca is about 7 years old, spayed, and fully vaccinated. There's no adoption fee; a donation in her name to Capital Area Humane Society or Saved By Zade is appreciated. This could be the start of something paw-some.
