Koda is a lovely 67-year-old mixed breed dog who has made impressive strides while in foster care. Initially anxious and overstimulated, she's now a calmer and more confident companion thanks to training, structure, and plenty of love. This smart girl is house-trained and crate-trained, sleeps soundly through the night, and walks well on a leash. She knows multiple commands, including sit, stay, shake, down, give, and leave it. Koda enjoys outdoor activities like hiking and running, as well as puzzle toys, tasty treats, and neck scratches. She loves to be tucked under blankets at bedtime. Koda is friendly with people and prefers to stay close to her humans. She would excel with an experienced adopter who can continue fostering her confidence and support her needs. Due to her prey drive, Koda cannot live with cats or small animals, but she may enjoy some canine companionship. However, she'd likely be happiest as the sole focus in an adult-only home.
