Meet Cooper! This young hound mix, at just over 2 years old, is ready to find his forever home. He’s potty trained, crate trained, and well-behaved, with a super friendly disposition. Cooper proudly graduated with his Canine Good Citizen certification last year. After growing up in the shelter system in Missouri, he was often overlooked by potential adopters. Luckily, MARS stepped in to give this happy fella a chance, and now he's thriving in a loving foster home. Cooper relishes family life, happily snuggling on the couch for some quality cuddle time. He also enjoys playing with toys and has a playful spirit, even throwing the ball around for himself. With a moderate energy level, Cooper is a breeze to keep up with during walks. He does well on a leash but loves to stop and sniff, so he's in training to keep his pace. He shows no signs of destructive behavior and can be trusted to roam the house when alone. As a true love bug, he'll gladly join you for morning cuddles after waking up in his kennel. Cooper gets along well with other dogs and, while he hasn't been tested with kids or cats, his friendly demeanor suggests he would adapt well with the right introductions.
