Meet Abby! Abby is a charming 10-month-old Shih Tzu with a sweet spirit and a heart full of hope. Despite her short life, she has faced challenges that no puppy should endure, spending much of her early days outside without the warmth of a bed or a loving home. Thankfully, a kind soul recognized her plight and brought her into rescue, giving her a chance to flourish. Upon arriving at Lone Star Westie Rescue, it became evident that Abby had significant discomfort. She struggled during potty time and appeared to be in pain. A thorough veterinary exam revealed a bladder stone that was causing her distress. After surgery to remove the stone, Abby is now on the road to recovery, feeling much more comfortable. Abby’s loving nature shines brighter every day. She craves closeness and relishes the affection showered upon her. As she heals, her desire for a cozy home becomes more apparent. She deserves a family that will cherish her and include her in their lives filled with gentle walks and love. Abby’s difficult days are behind her, and she is eager to find her forever family.
