Evie is a striking 7-year-old Malinois/Dutch Shepherd mix currently at the Joshua Tree No-Kill Shelter. After being surrendered due to a housing issue, she's now adjusting to a lot of change in her life. This sweet girl is a bit reserved at first, but with patience and time, she really comes into her own. She loves to play, especially with a ball, which brings out her fun-loving personality. Evie walks well on a leash and is a fantastic travel companion. She's house trained and knows commands like sit and shake, showing no aggression during handling. Dogs like Evie often have a special charm because they thrive on the love and security of a home. She deserves to feel that warmth again.
