When allowed in the home, she’s an angel, enjoying time on the couch or soaking up the sun. This bright girl walks beautifully on a leash and excels in loose-leash training. Willow is calm around other animals, whether they’re dogs, cats, or even chickens. She has a zest for learning and picks up new commands quickly, making her an ideal companion for someone who values training and interaction. While she enjoys playing with other dogs, she does show mild resource guarding behaviors, which are manageable with proper supervision. Willow does best when not crated; she can panic when left alone in a crate. A home that provides structure and can work on her separation anxiety would be perfect for her. This lovely lady needs a patient, experienced adopter who leads an active lifestyle. Willow is heartworm positive but is currently in treatment, which the rescue will cover until she tests negative.
