Gladis is around two years old and suspected to be a pit bull mix. This timid girl takes her time to warm up to new people. Previously found running with another dog, we don't know how long they were on their own, but it's clear that Gladis needs patience and understanding. While she is gentle and sweet, she still struggles with trust. When she first came to the shelter, she would lay in the corner of her kennel, reluctant to engage. Now, she cautiously walks on a leash and has started accepting treats and attention, which is a big step for her. Gladis will benefit from a patient adopter who can help her gradually learn how to enjoy life as a dog. With time and love, she is sure to blossom into a loyal and affectionate companion.
