Meet SHADOW! This adorable 2-month-old black lab mix is estimated to weigh about 8 lbs and is expected to grow into a small-medium sized dog, around 35 lbs when fully grown. Shadow's name comes from her love of following people around—she really will be your little shadow! Shadow is a bundle of joy, always wagging her tail and bringing cheerful energy wherever she goes. Her entire body wags with excitement, and she thrives on being around humans, weaving between feet to ensure she’s part of the action. Her spirited nature makes her a perfect match for a home with kids, and she’s been socialized well with other dogs and is playful with them. She also enjoys the company of cats, exhibiting curiosity and a desire to play. Shadow's story is one of resilience. Found in a hole by a busy roadway in Ponce, PR, she was monitored and cared for by a rescuer until she was ready to be saved. Named for her eagerness to be with her new family, she quickly adapted and became a beacon of happiness. Please note that Shadow is currently in Puerto Rico and is ready to fly to her forever home as soon as she is adopted.
