Ivy is back with us and ready for a second chance at finding her forever home. This confident German Shepherd has shown that she thrives with the company of other large, balanced dogs. Without the right playmates, her initial bravado fades, so having an active canine partner is a must. At just 8 months old, Ivy is bursting with energy and loves to play. However, she knows when to take a break and will happily turn off her playful side when playtime is done. Ivy is already potty and crate trained but is still polishing her house manners. She's a bit of a mischievous pup, needing a watchful eye to keep her from getting into trouble as she navigates through her puppy phase. While she can sit reliably, she’s still working on her recall and tends to weigh the fun of other distractions against your commands. Food treats certainly help her focus! Due to Ivy’s high-energy nature, she’s not the best fit for families with young children or small dogs. She’s in a caring environment with foster siblings, where she's continuing to learn and socialize.
