Need some BIG love? Meet Buddha! This one-year-old Staffy mix is a loyal companion with a heart as big as he is. Weighing in at 65 pounds, Buddha is neutered, vaccinated, and ready for his forever home. He came into our foster program as an unclaimed stray, but his spirit remains unbroken. This handsome boy is friendly and affectionate, and he's quickly learning what it means to be part of a loving family. Buddha is playful and energetic; he enjoys tossing toys into the air, chewing on durable toys and antlers, and wrestling with his foster siblings. Walks are one of his favorite activities, and he’s making great strides with his leash manners. Buddha understands the importance of downtime, settling nicely in his crate for naps and sleeping soundly at night. While he's had no direct experience with cats, he does display a keen interest in chasing squirrels and other small animals, so he’ll need a home without those potential distractions or an experienced adopter who can guide cautious introductions. Although Buddha would likely adore children, his size and enthusiasm might lead to unintentional knocks during playtime.
