Meet Max! This outgoing kitten arrived at the rescue after Hollister Animal Services reached out for support with a nursing mom and her five surrogate kittens. Now, Max, his siblings, and mama Lucy are eager to find their forever homes! Max is playful, cuddly, and full of energy. Being the largest in his litter, he naturally embodies the big brother role, often perched in his scratcher tree, keeping a watchful eye on his siblings. When it comes to playtime, he leads the charge in climbing competitions with them. But when it’s time to relax, Max looks for a cozy lap to curl up in. His purr is strong, and he's not shy about showing it off. Given his larger frame, especially in his hind legs, Max is likely to grow into a big cat. He would thrive in a home with adult adopters or families with cat-savvy children aged 10 and above. While he enjoys the company of his siblings, he would also do well with another playful kitty in the home. Max has had some exposure to large-breed dogs but will need slow introductions to any dog companions. Max is currently at the AFRP Adoption Center and would love to meet you!
