Mia is a sweet girl who has shown a lot of nervousness in the shelter environment. She came to us recently because her owner could no longer give her the time she needed. Once she warms up to you, she enjoys snuggling and will happily curl up in your lap. Mia is a huge fan of toys and loves to play; they really help her come out of her shell. She walks nicely on a leash, although she's still a bit scared. With the right home, we believe she will become more energetic and comfortable. Mia would thrive in a setting with a fenced yard and an active adopter, ideally someone experienced with Malinois. She experiences some nervousness around other dogs and needs a slow, monitored introduction. While she is curious about cats, she's also a bit fearful, so a home with calm pets would be best.
