About Wilma
Wilma: The Snore Heard 'Round the Neighborhood Say hello to Wilma, a 54-pound English Bulldog who has truly mastered the art of relaxation—and snoring! Whether she's fully asleep or just daydreaming, her snoring can rival the loudest of Thanksgiving feasts. Picture that relative who snores loudly on the couch; that's Wilma. At six years old, she's wonderfully housebroken and embodies the soul of a loving grandmother who prefers knitting over chaos. Her perfect day consists of gentle walks, a bit of adventure, lots of lounging, and then retreating to her crate while a fan gently blows her way. This beauty features a distinct underbite that makes her expression a charming mix of affection and disinterest. Wilma came to us after being surrendered in Alabama due to her family's inability to care for her. She came with some untreated chronic dry eyes, which she now receives care for, along with managing arthritis and previous bladder stone removal. Wilma can be easily startled due to her vision challenges, so a calm environment is ideal for her. She's fantastic with other dogs and loves being part of a canine crew without taking the lead; she prefers to be the lovable sidekick. Wilma is looking for a home where life is tranquil, with humans who don’t mind a little snoring and who will continue her eye care routine. If you're searching for a devoted companion who will snuggle on the couch, join you on leisurely walks, and provide a unique soundtrack to your nights, Wilma is your girl. She doesn't need a fast-paced lifestyle; just a cozy spot and a family to follow. Albert's Dog Lounge focuses on senior and special needs dogs, and they can guide you through the adoption process if you feel ready to welcome Wilma into your home. She’s waiting for her forever family. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
