Honey is a playful two-and-a-half-year-old female Chihuahua, who tips the scales at a healthy 22 pounds. She has spent the last year and a half in a loving foster home where she’s not only excelled as a great companion but also taken on the role of mentor to other fosters. Known for being friendly, Honey bonds wonderfully with her sister, Belle Mae, and they both enjoy their daily outings to the dog park, making friends with dogs of all shapes and sizes. Though she hasn’t had much experience with cats, Honey does great with kids and has welcomed young visitors with open paws. She’s well-liked in her community, standing out as a both a social butterfly and a gentle companion. Honey is housebroken and has learned the personal language of her humans. She enjoys her time outside, especially when she can chase squeaky balls and play games with Belle Mae. When it's time to relax, this lap dog transitions smoothly from playful to cuddly, often hanging out on a recliner with her humans or finding her cozy spot under the bed at night. Though she’s a little on the heavier side, Honey is not food aggressive and shares her meals with Belle Mae without issue.
