Meet Loki, a 3.5-year-old Pit mix radiating sweetness and loyalty, looking for a loving home. Known as a "Velcro dog," he bonds deeply with his person and shows notable affection. While he generally prefers women, he can be reactive to men, so a patient approach is best. Loki is a gentle soul who gets along well with both large and small dogs. Food-motivated and eager to please, he knows commands including sit, down, and wait, and respects boundaries. Currently undergoing treatment for a minor skin condition linked to environmental or dietary changes, he's fully vaccinated and has a recent clear blood panel, only showing a minor thyroid level variance under monitoring. As with many dogs, Loki is a work in progress. Energetic and playful, he may jump during play, especially if other dogs are reactive. While generally friendly, he requires more socialization for better leash manners, as his excitement can lead to misinterpretations. He’s shown protective instincts when strangers enter the home without prior introductions, but with consistent training, this is manageable. Loki hasn’t been tested with cats or children, but he's a wonderful companion who will flourish in a structured environment with continued socialization.
