Chuck is an adorable one-year-old male Beagle/Terrier mix, brought to the Humane Society of the Ohio Valley on August 7, 2026, after being found at a gas station in Bartlett, Ohio. With his dark tan and brown shorthaired coat, a charming patch of white on his chest, and a cute Terrier face, Chuck has a long body and curled tail that give him a delightful look. His tiny muzzle features a splash of white, complementing his floppy ears. While Chuck has a sweet disposition and loves attention, he does have a condition in both eyes known as 'cherry eye' that will require surgical treatment in the future. He has a fantastic attitude and enjoyed stretching his legs and exploring the grass during his photo session with HSOV Kennel Tech Emily Beaver. Chuck weighs in at about 20.6 lbs and walks well on a leash. Though he was held for the mandatory stray hold, no one came to reclaim this charming boy. Now, Chuck is available for foster-to-adopt with an approved application, and he will be neutered and receive eye surgery before finalizing the adoption.
