About McKay

Meet McKay, the charming little doctor in the making. This adorable girl is not just a domestic short hair; she's also polydactyl, which gives her those impressive front paws. McKay has an extra dew claw on each back foot, making her uniquely equipped—though her skills in using them for productivity are still a work in progress. Rescued from the streets, she's been learning that humans can be reliable sources of food, safety, and love. McKay has formed a strong bond with her foster sister, Coven, and their playful relationship is something to behold. Wherever Coven goes, McKay follows, whether it's to the litter box or the food bowl. Their cuddly antics and playful wrestling sessions are heartwarming to watch. For her forever home, McKay seeks a friendly feline companion to share her life with. She's come so far from her timid beginnings, but new experiences might require some patience. Once she feels safe, you’ll find she has a ridiculous personality filled with sweetness. If you’re ready to welcome a playful, loving cat into your life, McKay is eager to meet you. Just be aware: when she decides she’s comfortable, she might even follow you into the bathroom—it's just part of her charm. Click apply to start the adoption process.
