Meet Sadie! This sweet girl is around 3 years old and weighs about 60 lbs. While she may have some coonhound in her lineage, she's shown a wonderful personality in her foster home. Sadie is house trained, crate trained, and walks well on a leash. Like many hounds, she has a strong sense of smell and loves to follow her nose, so a secure environment is key. Sadie is good with kids aged 10 and up and gets along with other dogs, but she does not get along with cats. Her foster notes that she prefers a home setting over an apartment due to her vocal nature. Sadie is smart and affectionate, and while she enjoys walks and exploring, she prefers a leisurely pace over jogging. More than anything, she hopes to find a loving family who understands her needs and will reciprocate her love.
