Meet Ahsoka, a lovely one-year-old mixed breed Terrier who came to our shelter as a stray. Initially frightened, Ahsoka reacted to her new surroundings with growls, though they were never aggressive. As she settled in, her friendly personality began to shine through. Now, she greets trusted humans with joyous tail wags, showing how much she appreciates their love. Ahsoka is somewhat shy around other dogs and prefers the spotlight—she’d thrive best as the dominant pup in her home, ideally with dogs smaller than her. Also, she’s not a fan of cats, viewing them more as toys than companions. While she has enjoyed time around respectful children, she isn’t suited for homes with kids who move quickly or make loud, sudden movements that might startle her. AahSoka would benefit from a fenced-in yard where she can feel secure and play freely, though it’s not a requirement.
