Hazelnut is a 13-year-old Himalayan who found herself at the Henderson County Shelter as a stray. Despite her uncertain past, it’s clear she was once cherished, as her good teeth and well-kept coat suggest she received excellent care. Currently in foster care in Hendersonville, she displays a sweet and gentle disposition but is a bit shy. Hazelnut enjoys being petted and will sit beside you, although she hasn't yet become a lap cat. Though she seems intimidated by the resident cat in her foster home, this lovely girl would thrive as an only cat or perhaps alongside another calm feline who respects her gentle nature. Given her serene personality, Hazelnut would be a wonderful companion for someone looking for a low-key, affectionate friend.
