Basket Case is a delightful cat who was discovered injured in a backyard, unable to put weight on one of her back legs. After arriving at IAR in a laundry basket, she showed her tenacity by quietly making biscuits while on medication. Now fully healed after several weeks of crate rest, she's eager to enjoy her new life as an indoor companion. Though she started off as a stray, Basket Case quickly adapted to human interaction, relishing in playtime with wand toys and indulging in Churu treats. She adores gentle ear scratches and chin rubs, and she'll give you sweet head butts as a reminder to keep the affection coming. Initially shy in new environments, she's currently being coaxed into a more confident indoor life, and while she gets along with other cats, her feelings about dogs remain uncertain.
