About Max

Max is a delightful Shih Tzu mix seeking his forever home. Located in McAllen, Texas, he can be transported to your area upon adoption, but keep in mind there are no meet and greets. Loveable and playful, Max thrives on being around people and gets along well with other dogs. This adorable boy weighs 15 pounds and, despite his past hardships—including being found in a hoarding situation and possibly being hit by a car—he remains joyful and affectionate. Max has a unique foot that dangles, but it doesn’t hinder him at all; he walks and runs with no issues. Our vet has advised that this should remain as it is since it doesn't affect his mobility. Max is crate trained and is looking for someone who can provide him the companionship and love he deserves. He would be a fantastic addition to any family, especially those with children.
