Meet Milkshake, a young female mixed breed dog blending the delightful traits of Miniature Poodles and Schnauzers. She's currently 4 years old and weighs about 24 pounds. Milkshake was discovered under a truck in Texas, and she was surrendered along with her adult son. Now, she is in a foster home in Texas but will soon make her way to Colorado on August 15. Understandably skittish, Milkshake would thrive in a home without children and ideally with an owner experienced in rescue situations. Given her current disposition, she may be better suited to a dogless home as she's not enjoying close interactions with other dogs at this time. However, as she gains confidence in her new environment, we'll have more insight into her behavior around other canines. Rest assured, she'll be spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and treated for a tick disease (with no notable side effects). She has also passed her fecal and urine tests with flying colors.
