Meet Carmen, a delightful lab mix who has been with us since July 16th. Rescued as a stray near Jackson Milton High School, she arrived with a few challenges, including fleas and skin irritation, but has since blossomed beautifully. After a thorough bath in Dawn dish soap and some care, she proved to be an absolute champ during her recovery. Carmen has a sweet and friendly disposition, getting along wonderfully with other dogs. Although it's uncertain how she feels about kids and cats, her affectionate nature makes her a great candidate for a loving family home. Black dogs like Carmen often wait longer for adoption, so she's eager for a place to call her own. This young adult dog weighs around 40 lbs and deserves a family that appreciates her charm.
