Meet Whistle! This sweet and enthusiastic girl absolutely thrives on human connection. Having recently completed 10 weeks of training through the Puppies for Parole program, she’s eager to find her forever family. Whistle loves to be involved in everything happening around her. She adores belly scratches and can hardly contain her excitement when greeting her people, often trying to jump up for affection. However, she has some quirks that her future family should be aware of. Whistle doesn’t enjoy having her feet, mouth, or ears handled and can become defensive during grooming or vet visits, so she'll need careful restraint and patience during these times. While she does experience some separation anxiety, leading to vocalizations when she sees passersby, she is generally a quiet girl. Despite her challenges, Whistle is a loving companion who has shown tremendous potential through her training. She needs a family willing to provide structure, understanding, and lots of love to help her thrive. Whistle isn't perfect — and that’s perfectly fine.
