About Little Bird

Meet Little Bird, affectionately known as Birdie. She’s a lovely Russian Blue who’s had a rough time lately after being returned to the shelter when a new puppy joined her previous household. Now at eight years old, she’s considered a senior and would thrive in a calm environment where she can take her time to settle in. Birdie is a gentle soul looking for a peaceful home that can offer her the love and stability she needs after her recent changes. She deserves a place where she can feel secure and appreciated. All pets from the Humane Society of Freeborn County, including Birdie, will be spayed, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, tested, and microchipped, all part of her adoption package. Please allow 4-6 weeks for her to adjust to her new surroundings. During this transition, we offer support and guidance to ensure she thrives in her new home. If you think you could be the right match for Birdie, don’t hesitate to fill out an application for adoption. Your new best friend could be a click away!
