Meet Ziggy! Ziggy is a lively 20-pound Maltese mix, estimated to be around 2 years old. He is fully house trained and currently lives with large resident dogs, getting along well with them. However, Ziggy takes a little time to warm up and build trust. For this reason, he would likely thrive as the only dog in his new home at first, allowing him to bond closely with his humans without the distractions of other pets. He may need some patience and positive reinforcement when it comes to leash walking, as past experiences might have made him a bit nervous about it. With time, kindness, and some consistency, he's sure to build confidence. Once comfortable, Ziggy becomes incredibly loving and sweet. He’s playful at home, enjoys car rides, and loves nothing more than curling up next to his people to stay warm and snuggly.
