About Ocracoke

Meet Ocracoke, a striking gray kitten named after one of the charming islands of the Outer Banks! She had a challenging start, suffering from a severe eye infection that left her with vision loss in one eye. Despite this setback, Ocracoke is eager to leave her past behind and embrace the joyful kittenhood she deserves. Her vision loss doesn’t hold her back; she is a sweet girl in search of a loving family that will appreciate her for who she is and provide the care she needs. With her plush gray coat and adorable personality, Ocracoke is ready to claim her forever home and turn it into her very own paradise. Ocracoke is social and playful, a true charmer. She is litter box trained and gets along with other cats, given the right introduction. We believe she would thrive in a home with another young kitty or one of her siblings, and she could also adapt well to children and cat-friendly dogs as long as they have time to get acquainted. Her adoption fee covers her spay surgery, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations, and testing for FIV and FeLV. If interested in adopting, visit the adoption page for more information and to complete the application. Please remember that we prefer to adopt young kittens with a littermate or to homes with a similarly aged kitten to support their social development. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
