Meet Lane! This 3-year-old, 68 lb mixed breed is a true sweetheart. He had the chance to leave shelter life behind for a day and showcased just how delightful he can be. Lane rode calmly in the car, explored a Sniffspot, relished treats, and proved to be an exceptional houseguest. He’s clearly housetrained, takes baths in stride, and loves to snuggle once settled. Although Lane can pull on the leash when he’s excited, he calms down after burning off some energy. He knows the command to sit, has a big love for treats, and is affectionate beyond measure. During his outing, Lane displayed friendly interest in other dogs, greeting them with a relaxed demeanor and a wagging tail. While returning to his kennel, his volunteer felt a pang of sadness, showing just how special he is.
