Rock is a large, male mixed breed dog, about 2.5 years old. He's brindle with a short coat and has been spayed. Rock is affectionate and friendly, getting along well with dogs, but he's looking for a patient adopter who can help him acclimate and understand his world. He is currently located in Flint, MI.

About Rock

Rock is a gentle soul who has weathered a tough past at just about 2.5 years old and weighing in at 72 pounds. He thrives on slow and proper introductions, especially with other dogs, and may need a bit more time when it comes to meeting new friends. While he hasn’t been around cats, we recommend him for homes with older kids who understand how to interact patiently. Rock is a big, goofy lover at heart, but he may feel a bit nervous initially, so letting him approach new experiences on his own terms is essential. A patient adopter who can invest in some basic training will help him shine. You can meet Rock without an appointment during our open hours: Tuesday to Friday, 12-6 pm, and Saturday, 10 am - 2 pm. All dogs come vaccinated, spayed or neutered, heartworm tested, and microchipped. Ready to meet this sweet pup? Apply today!
