Grady is the last remaining puppy from a litter of six who found a way out of a tough situation in rural Kansas. Before rescue, he and his siblings navigated dirt roads, scavenging for food, until animal control gathered them up just in time to save their lives — they were on the brink of euthanasia. After their rescue, the puppies spent some time in a loving foster home in New Mexico before making their way to Massachusetts. All have since found their forever families, except Grady, who has spent the past year learning what it means to be safe and loved. He’s blossomed into an affectionate, well-socialized young dog who is friendly with people, other dogs, and even cats. Grady has shown remarkable growth; he initially felt the weight of responsibility for his siblings, but now he’s relaxed, understanding he can just be himself. He’s ready for a loving family to welcome him into their lives.
