Jackie is a gentle 3-year-old Chihuahua who found her way to us from Roswell after losing her family. At around 8 pounds, she enjoys her own space and prefers to take life at her own pace, especially while she adjusts to her new foster home. Although some of her fellow residents might be a bit overwhelming for her, her calm demeanor makes her a quiet companion who enjoys the solace of her outdoor kennel. Jackie is crate trained and has no accidents while inside her crate. While she can be a little shy, she loves being held and is great on car rides, showing just how easygoing she can be. Having a leash on is still a bit intimidating for her, and she’d rather be carried if she can’t walk freely. With some patience and understanding, Jackie is ready to share more of her personality.
