Pepper is currently in a foster home in Lavon, TX, eagerly waiting for a forever family. He’s a 3-4 year-old neutered male black lab mix, found wandering the streets of Houston. Thankfully, he was rescued, and now he's ready to share his love and companionship with you. This sweet boy is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and house trained. After successfully undergoing heartworm treatment, he’s on preventative care and thriving. Pepper has a charming gallop as he plays in the yard and gets along well with both male and female dogs of all sizes. Though not officially tested with cats, his gentle personality suggests he could adjust well to a feline friend. With moderate energy levels, he enjoys food, treats, and cuddles. He rides comfortably in the car and exhibits no anxiety when left alone at home. Whether as an only dog or with a buddy, Pepper would fit nicely in a family, couple, or even a single-person household.
