Shelbia is a delightful young girl who’s ready for her forever home. At about 2 years old and weighing 42 lbs, she has a gorgeous short coat that’s a lovely blend of brown tones. She’s playful and friendly, warming up to everyone she meets, including both big and small dogs, as well as children of any age. Although she had a tough start in life, Shelbia’s remarkable spirit shines through. She’s crate-trained and quickly learning her house manners, plus she has started leash training and is progressing well. Currently in a cozy foster home, Shelbia thrives on adventures to the dog park and enjoys hiking in the woods. Her gentle temperament makes her a perfect family dog. She has been spayed, vaccinated, and even has a microchip—ready to be part of a loving family. Shelbia’s rescue story is inspiring. Found abandoned and emaciated, she was saved by a dedicated volunteer and later brought into an international rescue group where she’s made new friends and found safety.
