Living in Sinking Spring, PA, she thrives in a home with a fenced yard and needs a buddy dog to help her adjust.
About Trinket
Meet Trinket! You know those little treasures that bring joy? That's Trinket. This adorable 3-year-old Bichon Frise recently transitioned from a breeding facility. She’s an incredibly sweet pup who’s slowly realizing life can be wonderful. Trinket is still warming up to people, so an adopter with patience is essential; building trust takes time. When she spots her favorite humans, she does an adorable happy dance, though she usually keeps her distance initially. Treats are the secret to her heart! Trinket feels more confident around dogs than people, so having a playful canine companion is a must. She currently lives with other dogs and loves zooming around the yard with them. However, be aware that Trinket is a flight risk; she’ll dash out of open doors or gates. She startles easily and is still learning to potty on a leash, so a physically fenced yard is crucial for her safety. Crate training is a plus for Trinket, but she does voice her opinions at first when left alone, so keep her barks in mind if you have close neighbors. While she has not been tested with cats, we’re willing to evaluate her if you have other pets. Trinket is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and has a grade 2 heart murmur that should be monitored but doesn't require treatment at this time.
