Ron is a charming 7-year-old pitty tipping the scales at about 75 pounds. This friendly guy has a heartwarming personality, making him seem like he’s running for office with his quest for friendship. Found as a stray, Ron approached a stranger for help, leading to his rescue. After some care for his skin and dental issues, he’s thriving now with a coat that shines and breath that’s just as sweet as he is. Living with Ron has been a joy; he’s not destructive and knows how to enjoy his time on a dog bed. Potty trained, he patiently watches until you ask if he needs to go, responding with an enthusiastic "Awoo." While he loves sniff walks, he has some arthritis, so longer treks can be challenging. Ron takes daily NSAIDs to manage his pain, and we recommend continuing this. His warmth extends to all creatures; he’s enjoyed the company of dogs, cats, and strangers alike. Cars are one of Ron’s favorite activities, and though he’s not overly interested in toys, he’ll give them a quick play for his foster mom’s sake. Cuddling is his personal favorite, and he loves being the little spoon. Ron is heartworm negative and up to date on flea and heartworm preventatives. His new family will receive several months' worth of flea prevention and his NSAIDs. Ron truly is a gem, ready for a loving home.
