Meet Mongo! This handsome one-year-old Victorian Bulldog has a lot of character. Developed to improve the breathing and structural issues of traditional Bulldogs, Mongo embodies strength and playfulness at 73 pounds. He didn't have the easiest start, coming to rescue needing training. While he's made significant progress, Mongo will thrive with an adopter who understands the importance of ongoing training. He’s currently about 99% housebroken and, when left loose, behaves well. However, he struggles with separation anxiety and is not fond of being crated. Mongo does not get along with cats or smaller dogs due to his rough play style, common in Bulldogs. He currently shares a home with a 10-year-old Pit Bull mix, managing well with larger canine companions. We're looking for a patient, experienced owner who can commit to his training and help him grow into the amazing companion we know he can become.
