Meet Chip, a delightful 2-year-old neutered male Pit Bull mix weighing 60 lbs. He’s currently in a foster home in Houston, Texas, but he can easily be transported out of state for the right adopter. Chip is as sweet as a chocolate chip cookie and embodies playfulness mixed with a loving spirit. He craves companionship and will happily shadow you everywhere you go, earning his title as a Velcro dog. Initially cautious around new people, once Chip trusts you, he becomes your loyal sidekick. He enjoys his outdoor adventures and does well on a leash during his sniffing walks. Chip is both crate-trained and house-trained, bringing a sense of security to his future home. While Chip does well with calm doggy siblings, he prefers a slower introduction at first and should not be placed in a home with cats. He has experience around older children and thrives when he can be a part of family activities, including car rides. Chip can feel anxious when left alone, but he’s making progress with his separation anxiety and can be crated comfortably.
