Lizzy is a joyful Beagle looking for a forever home. Rescued from a shelter after being a stray, she’s eager to start her new life. Though her pictures may suggest she's large, she’s just a little over 13 lbs and is currently receiving extra meals to help her gain some weight. At only 6 months old, Lizzy has made excellent progress while staying in her crate overnight, proving she can hold it without accidents or destructiveness. However, she is quite vocal when she hears or sees you, so an apartment may not be the best fit. She enjoys the company of other small dogs and loves to play. Lizzy is excited to explore the outdoors, but as a true Beagle, she follows her nose, requiring a leash whenever she’s outside a secured area.
