Star is a lively two-year-old pit mix who recently enjoyed some time out at a community event thanks to our wonderful volunteers. Her past wasn’t easy; she arrived at the shelter needing urgent medical attention for severe dermatitis and ear infections. Thankfully, she has fully recovered and is now in much better health, ready for her forever home. Despite her rough start, Star is incredibly social and fun. She gets along well with both people and other dogs, showcasing her friendly nature. It’s important to look beyond her healing process and see the beauty she has to offer.
